Celebrating 40 Years of Black Cartoons at DuSable – June 27 – October 20, 2014

Remember the old school cartoons that showed positive black characters? Come to think of it, when was the last time we saw such cartoons in general?

Well, you can go back in history for the next three months by checking out the Museum of Uncut Funk’s exhibit, “Funk Turns 40: Black Character Revolution Animation Exhibition” at DuSable Museum. See cartoons you used watch and some you didn’t know existed.

The exhibit starts tomorrow and admission to DuSable is free on Sunday. Remember, you have over three months to check this out.
