The City of Chicago is sponsoring a free training opportunity through the Healthcare Employment Training Program. This is a pilot program offers qualified individuals a free 10-week class to prepare participants for a job in the healthcare industry. This opportunity is available on a first-come-first-serve basis and the first class starts on August 8th.
The training is designed to equip participants with skills such as Medical Terminology, Keyboarding/Typing, Microsoft Office and Customer Service that will make them more marketable in the healthcare industry.
