Happy 2015 fellow South Siders,

Hope you had a fantabulous 2014 and an even better 2015.

As you know, I share resources. This is what I do; it is what I love. People have asked me about reporting news. I’m not interested; however, I will welcome qualified people who want to volunteer.

My 2015 vision for Shorty:

• Revamp the site and make it more interactive
• Add an event calendar
• Hear from community members via interviews
• Spotlight powerful men and women on our side of town
• Publish a south side guide (advertising opportunities will be available. This is going to be nice!)

Also, my Black History Book Club started this month; it’s not too late to join.

I will continue my posting schedule of at least once a week.

Remember, I’m open to ideas, suggestions and help. Feel free to let me know if you would like to be a contributor, sponsor, advertiser or partner.
