Need something to do for Father’s Day? Here’s an event for you!

Living Without Love centers around TJ, a young man who’s too full of pain to forgive his dad, a longtime drug addict who missed much of his son’s childhood. Only through the power of his praying grandmother may TJ’s heart open enough to heal.

Based on the real-life relationship between writer-director Richard Gallion (who stars alongside Kymm Lewis) and has father, Living Without Love shows that sometimes it’s only when truly challenged that the heart of a man is revealed.

The performance will be held at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, 4701 S. King Drive. Show starts at 7 p.m.
