What is Pretty Brown Girl?

Pretty Brown Girl was started in 2010 by Sheri and Corey Crawley when their oldest daughter, Laila, started admiring long, blond hair over her beautiful, natural curls. To help their baby girls appreciate who they are,  Corey started addressing his daughters as “Pretty Brown Girl”.

What started as a term of endearment has turned into a national movement that is sweeping through communities and schools across the United States. The ultimate goal is to Empower a girl, empower the world!
