Shorty’s Fitness Challenge Begins Today – Are You In?

We don’t want to be like this do we? Crying when we get on a scale or just avoiding it all together.

Well, you don’t have to.  Join us for Shorty’s fitness challenge which begins today. We will be working out 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week. You can do anything you want as long as it 10 minutes. You can do two 5-minute workouts or one consistent session. Try to incorporate toning, cardio and stretching within those 5 days.

I’m no fitness expert; I just know I want to live and would love to see others extend their life spans.  To make this happen though, we’ve got to get moving and eating better. I’m going to try to find experts and resources to share that information.  In the meantime, here are a few exercise you can do at home.

1. Clean your house to upbeat music

2. Get your favorite CD with moderate to fast beats and just dance

3. Dust off those old exercise videos you actually enjoyed and the equipment that is taking up space and work it!

4. Find some stairs and go up and down for a few minutes

5. Jump rope

6. Line dance. Find some videos on YouTube and follow them

7. Push-ups and crunches
