Check out this letter that was sent to Dunbar High School. This is real ignorant in a day and age when people are screaming “post racial.” It’s because of small minds like this we can’t progress as a people in the 21st century. It is my hope that our children continue to achieve despite the racism and other “isms” they will face in their lives. This is not the first and it definitely won’t be the last they will get this. So, to my young people: Be strong, dare to dream, and don’t let anyone stop you from doing what you want to do!
